Rick Gladigau
Rick’s family has been living and farming in the Adelaide Hills since 1849. Rick has always loved the Adelaide Hills – “It’ a great place to live. To be able to live somewhere like this and still be close enough to everything you need is a blessing”
Rick grew up on a dairy farm and ventured out on his own the start his own dairy in 1993.
Today, Rick and his family (including his brother Kym, and son Cooper) run two farms with around 250 cows, just 10 minutes from the Udder Delights factory.
Dairy farming comes with its daily challenges, but Rick wouldn’t have it any other way. He enjoys knowing that every day is different as well as having the freedom of being his own boss.
The Gladigau farms have been supplying Udder Delights with milk since 2016. Rick appreciates being able to supply another local business.
“It’s great to supply a local manufacturer. Being two businesses in the Hills, I feel like there are some common goals there…to be able to walk into a store or a restaurant and see an Udder Delights product know I have been part of that journey”
