At Udder Delights Cheese we’ve always valued our relationships with our dairy farmers, considering them a part of the Udder Delights family.
We’ve partnered up with The National Centre for Farmer Health (NCFH) to help raise awareness and funding towards farmer health. We want to help raise awareness and funding towards farmer health, wellbeing and safety and support NCFH’s focus on preventing and early identification of risk factors associated with the farming community through research, education and farmer health services.
The NCFH cause resonates with us because we feel contributing towards a resource, which offers help to all Australian farmers, aligns with our values. We regard everyday mental health, wellbeing and post natural disaster support highly. This is why the NCFH was an optimal fit for this initiative.
When we spoke to one of our long standing dairy farmers, Rick Gladigau he said “Farming can be isolating, which can lead to mental health issues. It’s great to hear that there are organisations out there helping farmers out across Australia. The NCFH need all the help and funding to be able to help the backbone of Australia’s fresh food supply.”
20 cents from every wheel will be contributed towards the NCFH to help combat very real risks across all types of farming.
We selected our most popular cheese, the 200g Double Cream Brie for this initiative to maximise the contributions back to The National Centre for Farmer Health. We’re hoping to have this cheese more accessible to all Australians this year. While it’s readily available in South Australia and in selected independents throughout Australia, we’d love to see this cheese made available in the major supermarkets across Australia to maximise the contributions to the NCFH.
